Should I pack my breast pump for the hospital when I pack my bags
They had one for me to use at the hospital I had to pump right away to get my milk to come in because my baby had to go to the nicu
I wouldn’t it’s best to do straight nursing if you can for the first month but hospital have ones that are pretty good too
@britbrat.eskew4946, they give you brand new parts and they show you how to put it on. So technically it’s already sterilized
Tbh I don't know if I'm going to use the hospitals breast pump cuz I don't know if they cleaned and staralized it
@britbrat.eskew4946 you dont need a pump if baby latches. The colostrum is enough on it's own on demand every 2 hours until your milk comes in on day 3 or 4. All baby needs is Boob :)
Even though they have some, I am packing my own. I really don’t know why I wouldn’t, I mean that’s the one you’ll have to get use to. Then again, honestly idk if I’ll even pack mine. I’ll probably just strictly breastfeed at the hospital.
They should have a hospital grade breastpump for you after delivery to help with getting your colostrum going and milk flowing. I'd say don't bother unless you feel like your going to want to pump more frequently or that they won't have one.
I don’t. If I need a pump, I use the one they have there 🤷🏻♀️
