Because some pregnancies are more complicated than others. Maybe it was what you ate? Same thing happened to me but it was after eating food cold and it just didn’t sit well in my stomach. I was so annoyed because I thought I was over all that.
So my OB. Considers week 13-26 the 2nd trimester. But I keep reading all this crap online about week 14 starting the 2nd trimester. What does everyone else's doctors say!?! Also. Half of my apps say I'm in the 2nd trimester. The other still say first trimester!
