@my_fave_5, for baby, a couple of outfits. They don’t need much. A blanket and a car seat cover, but it was cold when I delivered. And for myself, any of the normal toiletries I would when I vacation. But for clothes I packed comfortable stuff. Pjs. Tank tops to make breastfeeding easy, which I didn’t end up doing but it made skin to skin easy. And a robe. I definitely recommend you bring that. It was the only thing I wore other than a tank top with no bra. It kept me modest and comfortable when family came. And I would definitely say slippers and or flip flops. My feet were triple the normal size for a week or two so I was glad I didn’t wear constricting shoes. Also definitely bring chapstick. My lips were so dry during labor, it’s all I could think about and I was so glad I had that!!! I hope that helps. If you have any more questions, feel free to message me!

I was induced at 37 weeks. Had my shower at 35. And packed my hospital bag at 30. You can always throw in any extras as you get them. It’s just nice to have everything for yourself already done

@my_fave_5, for sure, just take it easy at the shower. I felt like I wasn’t doing too much and still ended up with back pain, leg pain, my arm was hurting. It was like I got beat up or something lol

I had my bag packed at 35 weeks. And kept it close to the door, just Incase I couldn’t get home to get it and had to go right to the hospital. Anyone could get my keys from me to bring it to the hospital. I like being over prepared though. If I’m not prepared, I get anxiety lol.

If I were you, I’d think about making one soon. ☺️

I thought I waited too long to have the shower! In my experience, I ended up exhausted and I had it last week at 33 weeks. On the what to expect app it says at 34 weeks you should start to get everything ready. Im in the process but nowhere near even close to ready! 😩 I think the sooner the better at this point, you’re almost there.

I just wore the hospital gown. I packed one but never wore it. Going home clothes, tooth brush/paste, hair stuff, make up if you want, soap and shampoo, snacks, phone charger, baby gowns, going home outfit for baby, blanket for baby, bottles if needed.

I had my daughter at 38.6 and I've been in an out of l&d since 36 weeks so I'd recommend having it ready to go... it can't hurt you
