PSA to all the OG mom life users. Car seat safety is LIFE AND DEATH for your child. We are trying to inform, not offend. If I was doing something that made my daughter unsafe I would 100% take advice to correct myself. When I was new to baby bump I knew nothing about car seats and these ladies taught me so much. I am now advocating with them. There is nothing wrong with taking advice from someone who knows better. Parenting is all about learning from your mistakes and protecting your kids. If a piece of plastic can save your child's life then it needs to be used properly. We've seen so many posts about children dying because they were not properly restrained in their car seats. The parents decided to learn about car seat safety after their child died and it was too late. Would you rather take some helpful advice to better your child or have a funeral and then learn the advice and teach it to others? It's all about prevention. There is nothing wrong with not knowing but ignoring information and facts about keeping your child safe is some of the worst parenting. We want to help you, not attack you. If you don't believe us, do your own research. And, just because it's the law does NOT make it safest.

This post shouldn't be directed at "OG ML users" you're basically grouping us into one category just because you happened to see a few posts you didn't like. Not all MLifers are ignorant when it comes to car seat safety. I get your point but I don't agree with the way you worded the beginning of your post.
Well I’m an OG ML bitch and my youngest was in a five point harness until this past fall. 🤷🏼♀️ not all of us are ignorant.

I'm always encouraging carseat safety. If I see it and no one has said anything then usually I will but if someone has already said something than I keep scrolling.
Also people should realize that not all pediatricians are informed about carseats. Mine gave me a pamplet to forward face at 1, since that's the law here 🤦

@caylintay, I know it's not all! But there are so many and i was looking at old posts the night I joined here and was quite surprised that there were no comments on the pictures. I will shout it from the rooftops, I don't care if I sound like a broken record lol. I would hate to not tell that one mom and then she loses her baby over it. I always tell everyone I see that it needs to be corrected. I love that there is a car seat group here. 🙂 it's nice for the users who do choose to use it.

@kellynicole, there was someone awhile ago who knew changing out th fabric on her car seat was dangerous but didn’t care because it was cute. It was so cringe worthy.. all we can do is inform.

Safety tips for a baby is ALWAYS important idk why people get so mad when your just trying to have there loved one safe.. I would want a mother to point out if something was wrong with mine ... ❤️

Have you ever accidentally locked your child in a car? I mean like honestly didn't realize you locked them in.
Ladies that have 3 kids and kinda close to my kids age what car seat do you have? Also how do you have then in your car as well. I have a suv and can move one child to thrid row but dont want to just yet.
