Why do I have a lazy 7 yr old. 😩😩 he won't even try to take himself a bath nor put his own clothes on or ties his shoes. He throws a fit just to put his shoes on himself. He's going to be 8 this yr. I keep telling him he needs to try because after the baby gets here he's going to be wearing dirty underwear to school. Just kidding guys. 😂 but for real he needs to stop this. He sees me all huge bending over take him a bath sitting on the restroom floor putting his clothes on. And I'm tired!

I had my brother act like that, my mom and I stopped doing everything for him... when he saw we stopped he knew he had to start doing it himself...

@mommy_tojay I live with my parents and I wouldn't want to torture them with his crying lol. Because he will not stop nor try to attempt to do things on his own. 😩

Start taking away things. Once he does everything for say a week or 2 then give it back.

@mhbbb2 @ericas070788 @kaylacarese I've let him cry but he will not try to do it himself and if he does it'll be that one time. And I've taking away his DS before for a week. I'll just have his dad get after him like last time. Hes more scared of his dad and listens to him more. 😑🙄

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
