36 got my cervix checked and NOTHING & swabbed for strep. I need for this to over. I’m having some rabbit sex
@ash4267, well with baby number 1, I had sex and couple hours later, I was in labor. Baby number 2, I did some walking and I was in labor lol not that it was purposefully, but it did happen when I did those things so I’m thinking that with this pregnancy it might be the same. 🤷🏻♀️ maybe I was just lucky lol
@leslyev92, oh no there’s not anything that will sure start labor expect for medical induction. Baby’s only come when they are ready and due dates are just estimates, not eviction notices, lol. You can only do things to try to help prepare your body for when baby decides its time. Doctors aren’t legally allowed to induce or do a c-section before 39 weeks unless there is a medical reason but if labor were to start on its own after 37 weeks, they won’t stop labor.
@quincysmommmmy_, my Dr said 37 weeks is full term! 🤔 so which one is it lol I need to know cuz I’m getting closer and I’m prepping lol I have a c section scheduled for 39 weeks so I won’t go past that anyway.
@ash4267, oh wow thanks for the information, I thought all those things could activate labour
@quincysmommmmy_, you can’t start getting your body ready? Those things won’t actually put you into labor, they don’t do anything to induce you. They just help prepare your body for baby to come, like your uterus. All are considered safe to start at 36 weeks. Being active with sex, walking, squats, lunges, and yoga are actually safe throughout your whole pregnancy unless you are considered high risk.
@leslyev92, They said I cant even start @ash4267, babies aren’t considered full term until 39 weeks
After the rabbit sex, go for a walk and then drink some raspberry leaf tea! If you feel nothing, do it again tomorrow. That should get contractions going.
There’re several things you can try to help get your body prepared for baby in case you haven’t thought of adding them to your “get baby out” routine, haha.
Drink raspberry leaf tea
Eat 6 dates a day
Evening primrose oil
Stay active - walking, squats, lunges
Sitting on a yoga ball
Yoga stretches
Warm baths
Good luck momma!
Lmao I fell out when I read your post .. your almost there ......
@jellybeans_mumm, literally. I cant continue this lmao
@leslyev92, oh yes absolutely! If your body and baby are both ready and you do those things then it will help your body and labor progress, but it doesn’t mean that if you do do them that you will go into labor. I CrossFit throughout all of my pregnancys and that never put me into labor, but I walked around stores on both days I went into labor. My son was 1 week Early and my daughter was 1 day Early and both labors were fairly easy since my body was prepared 🤷🏼♀️
