So evelyn had her second hearing test today and it's much worse than the last time she was tested! She can only hear loud high pitched noises and has glue ear in both ears so next step is grommets :( they advised I phone and get her ent appointment moved forward because her hearing is so bad :( my poor little turtle

How old is she?
I can only hear low pitched noises. I have 30% hearing in my 1 ear 70% in the other.
Kids cope and if she needs hearing aids make sure she wears them. I didn’t and I do a lot of lip reading x

Oh no. My little boy was the same. He had grommets put in last August. We went for his follow up appointment yesterday. His left grommet is no longer in place, he still has fluid in that ear but he managed to pass the hearing test. His right ear has the grommet still in place and his hearing is now great in that ear.
He really failed previous tests. So this is great success for u. Even though he’s likely to need his left ear doing again in 6-12 months
