I’m getting a new car soon and now that I’m expecting another baby I’m thinking I should vent something that will fit 3…

We have a Ford Explorer with 3 car seats. They fit but no one else can ride with us. Wished I had captain seata.

@sarah.s, you sure that’s an Explorer I have an edge and can fit three car seats lol but my parents have an explorer and there is plenty of room

I'm pretty sure I know what I have. There is a 3rd row but hard to get back there with 3 seats in the middle row

@sarah.s, sorry I was making a joke lol I kinda figure you know what you have I’m just saying explorers are extremely roomy! Highly recommend! My aunt had four kids and a set of twins who are two, a 1 year old, and new born and she drives an explorer and she said it’s the best vehicle!

Just hard to get in the third row. Other then that we love it. But we had no clue we would have twins

Explorer is on my list to check out. We got a CRV less than 2 years ago when our son was due and should have gotten 3 rows. Luckily we will have 2 infant seats and my son in a booster in the back.. My daughter is almost 10 so no seat for her. I'm dreading car shopping but.. at almost 31 weeks it's time!

I have a Dodge Durango it could fit 3 car seats in the center row and then there’s two more seats in the back for extra people or you can put the seats down and use it for more trunk space

What seats are you looking for? Rear facing, forward facing, boosters? What are the kids ages?

Most cars have a back seat size of 74 inches to get a good car in your price range looks at the specs online and get the size of the back seat then buy the car seats accordingly I just bought a Hyundai Santa Fe I have a booster and front facing car seat and will be getting a infant seat there is a little research in the car seat hunt but I found amazing car seats with widths at 20/24 inches to fit the back seat good luck to you !! I bought my booster at target it was a Cocso it’s a good car seat 60$ and a evenflo 60$ aswell still looking for the infant seat cause size and then weight but I’ve found a few good ones

@caylee.henk, 3 and 2 I’m pregnant now and don’t want to get another car before or too soon after having the baby.

@tinannas, are the toddlers rear facing or forward facing? Do you have an infant seat for the baby or do you want a convertible from the start?

@caylee.henk, both toddlers are forward facing in going to get a travel system stroller so I’m going to start with an infant car seat

@makethatfour, A 10 year old child still needs a seat, it’s not safe for her to not be in no seat.

@tinannas, The Mom up there said her 10 year old daughter doesn’t need a seat. She still needs to be in a carseat like a booster seat to be safe.

@aliciafuentes My 10 year old daughter does not need a booster seat. She is bigger than most of the 12 year old students in the school I work at. So thank you for your opinion that I didn't ask for. My brother is also a CHP officer. If it wasn't safe for my daughter to not be in a seat he would let me know.
