Ok, here’s my rant today. I work for McDonald’s currently, and you wouldn’t believe some of the things I see in people’s cars in the drive thru. Today I saw a couple come through with their grandkid in the back. He couldn’t have been any old bigger than my 16 month old! And he was in the back seat- no car seat, not even a seatbelt!!! WTH?!? Do they not care about the safety of that child? Ugh! I would’ve said something, but I didn’t see it until they were driving away. 😔

I see it while waiting in the drive thru, awhile back I seen a small child literally hanging out the window, a few cars up, the mom looks in her rear view mirror and rolls the back window up when she got to the window
I saw so much crazy shit when I worked for McDonalds. There was a lady that came in the drive thru every morning and her entire from floor to ceiling was filled with trash except for where she sat 😷
I totally believe it ! The things you see are insane! I’ve seen some things working at a restaurant too 😢 some people don’t care about the safety they’ll say oh it’s just around the corner but literally anything could happen in a split second
I work at a dollar general & its so crazy to me how many people leave thier kids in the car and come shopping. Or when they have a 5 person car and have 4 small children in the back seat with no car seats at all. Im like seriously car seats are so important please put your babies/children in car seats the right way!
@sorcha, Yes! I can’t believe how many young mothers have their newborns rear facing in the front seat! Granted, they could have possibly turned off the passenger airbag, but it’s still SO much safer for kids in the backseat than in the front!
@sara672014 exactly! It's crazy but some people even now think this! Like, just because you survived doesn't mean alot of others didn't. And child car mortality is 100% preventable if you follow the advice from the professionals. SMH but I've seen younger people take the same approach to things with the mentality "I turned out just fine". Drives me crazy!
I worked for a fast food place 10+ years ago and I would see this all the time in the drive through. We called in as many as we could but I think they think it’s ok because when they were growing up, they didn’t have any car safety stuff and “they turned out just fine”
If I were you I’d get their plates, call the cops and say something to them
I think a lot of grandparents are ignorant to car seat safety. My In laws don’t take my children anywhere in their car but once I saw them trying to use an infant car seat for their large 3 year old grand daughter at the time... I had to say something.
It baffles me that some people can be so clueless :(
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

I find it pretty hilarious how people who have shown their true colors on social media snake away, delete the posts that outed them and come back on social media like nothing happened. Why do that, you outed yourself, so stay out. We still see you boo boo...
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
I worked at burger king and we would call the police on some drivers, one time this lady had her newborn baby in her lap.
