This IUD experience has been horrible its been day 8 and im back here to take it out. Bleeding extra heavy, the string is poking out of Mrs.Becky, and now i can feel the plastic coming out! Take it out already!!! 🤕 Who’s done the birth control shots?
@leslyyann, omg! Yeah everyone is different when it comes to bc im trying to make the best decision right now and im so iffy about all of them after this stupid iud experience
@lnkedupmommy, girl an app to track my cycles and the pull out method. 🤷🏻♀️
@lnkedupmommy, well I never got heavy bleeding or nothing but my sister in law went with me to get the same one & on her second time around she got heavy bleeding & cramps like hell . But my body took it . Had no bad side effect but i took the depo shot for a year then they introduced me to the hole implant one in the arm , & man I regretted that one ... & after that I took it off & got pregnant with my son & now I’m pregnant again.. 😆
@leslyyann, what are your symptoms, how was it at the beginning bleeding heavy or
The shot was horrible for me. I was angry all the time, mood swings that you wouldn’t believe. I actually felt crazy. I had immediate weight gain, and started to lose my hair. This is all from one month of the shot.
@lnkedupmommy, depo shot ! every 3 months isn’t bad to me and it takes 2 seconds to get (: i didn’t gain any weight !
I loved the shot , just hate the fact that I gotta go every 3 months .. but other then that I loved it !!!!!
I think Depo provera is the only shot brand if I’m not mistaken...🤔
@lnkedupmommy, Yeah, I totally understand that. I was gonna get the iud after birth, but I chose not to. If you can handle it then that’s great! Definitely go for it. Not having a period for a while is the best thing. 😅😂
@xoxemmiiee, thats great news! I dont mind the weight gain and no period! Which shot brand are you on?
@miaheka, honestly i rather gain weight that doesn’t bother me i can handle that, but a fukcing iud that is about to cause me an infection is stupid at this point that im scared its gonna get lost in there. I have to pick something because i cant afford another baby
@lnkedupmommy omg i kinda gelt that late last night as i was making my baby a bottle it kinda felt like a tampon that was slippin out or put in wrong
@cmjohnson3047, mirena, im gonna do the shots, everybody’s body is different but this is too much the iud is literally falling out i feel the plastic even more now
idk about you, but i’m ALL for not having a period ever 😂
i LOVE the depo shot !! before i got pregnant i was on it for 5 years and didn’t have a period. i’m on it again and already back to not having a period ever ! yay lol. i don’t have any side effects, the only one is you spot for a few months on and off before your period just completely stops lol.
@inkedupmommy what are u gonna get on now that ur taking it out? Since havin my iud ive just had super light spotting. What brand are u on? Mine is called liletta i believe
The dr was talkin to me abt The nuva ring and it seemed weird to me! U gotta fish out a plastic ring in ur cooter.... nah im good!
Ugh. That’s why I’m not even going to bother with bc as “irresponsible” as it sounds. 😣 I had depo when I was 18 and it was the absolute worst. I gained a shit ton of weight, was super hormonal times a thousand, and had extremely painful cramps. The only good thing about it was that I didn’t have my period for a year. 😅 but the second I got off of it I had heavy flows for days. 😣
I HATED the shots. I bled for about a year when I had them. The only thing I had that I liked was the nuva ring and the pill.
taking newborn out
When did you take your newborn out for the first time? What precautions did you take to ensure safety and health?
So I'm kinda freaking out. Haven't been feeling the same so decided to take a pregnancy test for the sake of it n it turned out to be positive. I've been taking the pill for a few months now, obviously I'm going to stop it but would there be anything wrong with this pregnancy since I've been taking the pill?
Been moved to the labour ward 😀 looks like my waters will go as soon as they take the stitch out
@missheatherbaby, ur crazy haha! I cant do that!!
