😭 thank you I was debating because of the leaking , do you think if maybe I put less witch hazel they’ll leak less
They were the best thing that ever happened to me. I bought a bunch of pads and panty liners from the dollar store and just soaked them in water or witch hazel and froze them. I would wear them over the top of a regular pad to absorb any leakage and then change them out every couple of hours. I started with the pads immediately after birth and then transitioned to the liners as the swelling and pain decreased. I found them much more helpful than the spray the hospital gives you.
I made some up for when I got home from the hospital and they were amazing!!! I made a bag of super maxi’s up with witch hazel, aloe Vera, jojoba oil, and lavender essential oil. I only used about half of them, but I had only a small graze tear that only needed one internal stitch. I wore 2-3 per day for an hour at a time for each one. At the end of an hour the ice has all melted and I while the absorbency was still okay I didn’t want to wear it anymore and would swap it out for regular pad. I felt like it really helped and stopped using them when I noticed most of the swelling in that area was pretty much gone.
I don't have a baby boy. I would like to know personally how do you moms feel about people treating there sons like girls as in taking them to nail salons and getting pampered ect.... I think it's important for ladies to remember your not raising a little boy. At the end of the day your raising a man. If I have a son I just want to raise him to be the best man he can be. I won't treat him to the same things I would my daughter and vice versa.😕

Long story... @essemmxo, I never had an issue with leaking. I wouldn’t skimp on the witch hazel.
