Sun detergent is what we use it's pretty mild but still works

Every baby is different, but my son had a reaction to the kind of baby detergent I used. (Can’t remember which brand) so we switched to all free and clear, and his rash went away. When he was older I switched to just using whatever, and he’s been fine with every other one. I just used regular detergent for this baby’s clothes. Hopefully she won’t have the same issue

I was definitely leaning towards washing everything, so I will be doing that here soon. 😊 I’ll probably go ahead and invest in the baby detergent too just to be on the safe side!

I wash everything before wearing. Even with mine and my fiances clothes. I used dreft because it smells good but anything is fine

I use Seven Generation for my babies clothes. I do not want him to have any extra chemicals. It cost the same or less i buy mine at discount price or with coupon. Plus it last longer

Yes you should wash all clothing before baby wears them. I didn't buy any special baby detergent. But I did wash all my daughter's clothes in free and clear detergent.

Only washed used clothing, always tried to use my detergent first which always worked fine, didn’t want to have to spend extra on special things if it won’t necessary. I’ve always used gain

Yes wash new or used clothes, always! But don't wash all the new clothes at first. Wash enough and if you think you will need more to get by between washes then wash more. Also wash sizes once baby is about to move up in sizes. I just used our detergent, all free and clear.

I washed EVERYTHING, even handmade quilts from my grandparents made for baby. And that is because babies immune systems are so low it’s safest to have everything washed, even brand new stuff. And baby purex was about 5 dollars where I live so it wasn’t expensive 😊

I don’t wash the new items I should say. The tags stay on them - never know if they need to be returned or whatever.

Washed everything and we used Purex baby. It was cheap and smelled good. I just washed all our laundry in the Purex baby. Then when he hit about 3 months I just started washing it in gain.
