This 2 under 2 stuff is so hard. Will it ever get easier?!
This morning I laid my 5 month old down on a waterproof mat to take my 21 month old to go potty. The 21 month old decided to throw a fit and it took 2 "baby shark" performances to calm her down enough to pee. We go back to her room to grab a diaper, and I see my 5 month old wiggled her way half off of the mat and spit up all over the carpet (which is less than a year old by the way). Then I see the poop. She had a poosplosion all over the mat which thankfully didn't get the carpet. I run her into the nursery and strap her into the changing table then go back and get a diaper on the 21 month old who is crying for more baby shark. I return to the nursery to find my daughter - who was strapped in - managed to flop onto her stomach and was literally covered in poo. This was the first time that I thought maybe I can't cut it as a SAHM. Just feeling so defeated right now. And typing this I realize I never did clean the spit up off of the carpet 😣

Take comfort in knowing that It will get easier mama! Right now they are both very dependent on you but it won't last long. My youngest two are turning 4 & 2 in a couple months & it's so much easier as they get older. It's just that baby stage that's sometimes a struggle. On days like you're having I find that I just have to laugh bc what else can you do?! Lol *Hugs*
