Day 9 in nicu hopefully baby Carter gets to come home soon I'm so overwhelmed with dividing my time between the hospital…

Well hes just needing to work on bottling better but dr just said if he continues only 3-5 more days so I'm praying everything continues to go smoothly

@josee152024, oh ok. I thought you only had the 2yo at home. That’s definitely tough!! How long of a NICU stay are they expecting?

@redheadedmonster Its very hard as I have 7 other children at home so I'm managing but it's getting harder on my 2 yr old as she doesnt understand what's going on at this point my younger 2 are 11 months old and they are just as clueless I'll just be so happy when he comes home and I can get my kids back into their regular routine(though it has not changed much ) even the smallest of things makes a huge difference for toddlers especially

I was in the same situation. My 3rd son was in an out of state NICU and I had a 12yo and 2yo at home. It’s so hard. But remember your 2yo is healthy. Your baby needs you the most right now. Dividing your time isn’t easy, but you have to do what needs done. Your 2yo will get over it. I know it’s hard mama but I’ll get better!
