Can't seem to get any good advice from dr google. Is eating fish in pregnancy bad for baby? Has any mom eaten fish throughout their pregnancy? Was baby fine and grew into a healthy child?
Any info will help, thank you
But honestly I eat the crap out of clam chowder lately and my twins are growing awesome!
Fish is recommended at least twice a week, just avoid high mercury fish... and don't eat shell fish more then twice a week
I’m 100% sure everything will be fine whether you eat more or less of what is recommended! Honestly!
A 3 oz portion of meat is roughly the size of a deck of cards.
Fish is good for you just avoid the fish that’s high in mercury. Shark, Marlin, mackerel and I know there are a few more but I can’t remember lol it’s more like the stuff ppl usually don’t eat too much of.
I know it's healthy because of omega 3s and fish oil, and I know to only eat 6-12 ounces a week. I'm worried because I don't know how much is 6-12 ounces :( I don't have a food scale. I eat parrot fish, a whole one 2-3 times a week, these fish are herbivores with short life, so they should be lower on the mercury scale, but the portion size is what's the concern. It's like half a kg that I would eat a week
If I'm over doing it... I guess I want to hear someone say they did and everything is fine :(
Thank you guys, I do stay away from the shellfish for now
