@nurseratchet I know exactly what you mean I cry every time about it as well it just breaks my heart that other babies her age are walking some even younger than her and i know every baby is different but still....all my friends are saying that im going to wish she never starts walking she is going to get into literally everything but at this point idc if she gets into everything I just want my baby to walk. She can stand up with no help it's just the walking part she hasn't done yet.

My 15 month old is not walking unassisted either. She can stand unassisted but won't take off. She's also getting tubes this month for ear infections. They said it could be causing balance issues. I'm worried sick. We were referred to PT but when I told the girl on the phone everything going on with her ears, she said she would wait until her ears are lined out. She's been on time for other milestones and climbs like a monkey and walks holding my hands. I'm hoping she does it soon bc I cry all the time about it.

My mom told me that I didn't start walking until I was a year and a half.

@babynessa I think that's why her doctor wants to refer me to a PT.

Try not to stress until you see PT @celiesmommy01 She looks tiny ☺️ maybe she is just taking her time....I never pushed walking, once they walk they get an attitude 😉😆🤣

The therapy won't hurt if you have the time and its no cost. But I think she'll walk late. My son walked like a crab for like a month lol. Standing up without assistance around 12m then walked by 14m

Then I don’t see why she needs the therapy for she’s just not ready to walK she’s fine let her be she’s good don’t worry momma your baby just need to be ready be dramatic with her like if she gets up make a big scene clap so she knows it’s okay

@scidg3 Yeah she told me that and I was like what she doesn't even show any signs that she is autistic.

@ymoreno16 yeah she sits by herself and when she crawls she crawls like a crab now.

I refer my students for multiple reasons to what we call the progress center. One student wouldn't walk just like your daughter. With extra help from a specialist, with me working with this student in class and mom doing her part at home the child ended up walking a few short months later. Now this student is running and climbing on things non stop. Some kids just need the extra help. I wouldn't stress too much about it and just see how therapy goes and where it takes her.

I don't think 15 months is reason to worry yet....I bet when you leave PT they will put your mind at ease ☺️ @celiesmommy01 Doctors sometimes 😒

My son didn’t start Until 16 months. He would just crawl until one day he did it

Honestly I think she’s gonna walk when she’s ready give it time my little brother didn’t walk until he was like 1year and 6 months
