I have a question for anyone who exclusively pumps for their babies.

My baby hasn’t latched correctly since birth and gets frustrated easily, so I decided to pump every 3 hours and bottle feed. I make sure to pump every 3 hours and I make between 3-4 oz. every time I pump. Is that a normal amount of milk to pump in a month of having a baby?

@neoshas_mama, thank goodness! I wasn’t sure if I should be making more than that or not.

Then yes thats plenty more thsn enough but try pumping every 2 hrs. It will boost your suply for the next growth spurt. And then forthe growth spurt you need to power pump every hour on the hour even if you don't get much at a time baby will extras will help with the crankiness also

Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
