They would have probable cause to fire you if they wanted. More than once a month is excessive. When do you go on mat leave?

Well being pregnant isn't a picnic all the time. It is exhausting!! Don't feel guilty.

Is there any other positions that you can request to work in that is less strain on you? Like can you just be a cashier or just fry? Have you tried wearing a belly support? That’s what helps me at work. I’m constantly moving/ walking and the store is big. Ask for light duty work and get a drs note to back you up in the mean time. Don’t over work yourself, can you get a shorter shift or a day off in between shifts? That helps me especially after working the busy weekends.

I’m 29weeks this Friday so I feel your pain.

Have you been there a year and worked 1250hrs? You should be able to request FMLA. It would protect any absences related to the pregnancy. I had it my last pregnancy and it made it much less stressful when I had to call out.

In oklahome it has to be 12 months of working there ive only been there since november

Fast food is stressful and taxing on the body and mind. But, you're either going to have to quit or push through. If you live in an at will state they can fire you.

You know first hand how stressful it is when someone doesn't show.

I plan on quitting the end of june and i have told them so if i get fired it wont be that big of a deal i guess ...im just trying to not feel so horrible for calling in cause i do like my co workers but it is what it is i guess
Skyanna Cooper·
Yea i do atleast i made sure there was atleast 6 workers there for the day shift i just knew if i went in id be doing everything by myself ...because i know how to do everything so people are okay with me doing everything but my body cant handle it today

That’s an excessive amount to call out. If they fire you that’s apart of your work history. If you try to get a new job and put on there that you used to work there they will call previous employers to see what kind of worker you are. I get that pregnancy can be tiring at times but 6 hours of work isn’t that bad. Maybe next time at least try going in and working some of your shift and if you really can’t handle it then ask to go home. That way at least they see you made an effort
