Looking for baby items essentials was wondering is a baby bath essential or will a bath be ok if…

Just for ease I'd say it was. Leaning over a bath with a newborn can kill your back.

I think if this is your first I woukd say no it isn't essential cause you could always use the sink xx

I used the sink until mine were bigger u don’t have to bend down as much plus there not in them long x

I bought a schnuggle bath helps support baby so they can eventually sit up themselves i can hold him better, I've found it alot easier than using the bath, leaning over kills your back lol x

@ezchaz thank u appricaite it ive been looking for hours at baby items thinking if stuff essential or not and was getting a headache as stressed me out then i seen baby swaddle and was like wtf is saddling lol x

When my first child was born I did have a baby bath but I only used it like twice! Total waste of time. I found it easier to just have him brought to me after my bath so the water was cooler and we’d have skin to skin and he’d get clean. Baby bath was a nightmare to empty, too heavy! He just bathed with me til he was too big and could sit up by himself and he had a bath seat instead :)

For me the baby bath is definitely an essential. Especially as we don't have a shower. It just me as baby can have some sensory water time for her development. We use the shnuggle bath. Also sometimes I do find it really easy to use the angelcare bath support. Especially if I'm on my own. I don't regret either purchase xxx
