So, does anyone else’s baby spit up a lot ? I feel like he just eats to much/to fast . I switched his formula to the sensitive kind , but he only formula feeds before bed and when we’re out . And we’re not out a lot . But he spits up my breast milk too. I’ll feed him and he’ll scream like he’s still hungry so I’ll feed him more until he seems like he’s not but he ALWAYS spits up. Idk what to do . I’ve tried burping more often , switching my diet , everything .
@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, yeah I’m patient and can deal with it I just feel bad for him! I feel bad seeing my little boog always spitting up :/
@nickii92, agreed ! Does insurance cover any of that or no ? I know they don’t cover it for adults but idk if it’s different for kids ? Lol. I
@briannalynn547 it may just be something you have to deal with for a bit too unfortunately, it'll pass eventually when he can start eating food and cereal. Ask his pediatrician about gripe water or gas drops too, they may help too
@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, I’ll keep trying , and yeah I keep him sitting up for thirty mins as well, someone on the baby bump app recommended it to me lol
@nickii92, no I haven’t thought of anything like that, he’s not to young for stuff like that?
My daughter is 5.5 months and what they call a "happy spitter". She still spits up AT LEAST 50 times a day.
@briannalynn547 keep trying the burping every ounce and when you're done feeding him, keep him in his bouncer or swing so he's sitting up for at least a half hour. My son spit up a lot when he was little too, that's what I did and it helped a bit, we also got him a bassinet that had the option of letting him sleep inclined and not flat
@leeitah, I have his one month appointment on the fourth, so I’m gonna bring it up because I’ve thought maybe that’s what it could be . But he doesn’t arch or scream or anything like that. He’ll scream til I feed him more but once he feels like satisfied he’ll be fine and play or go to sleep!
@breederofboyz, tried burping every ounce no help :/
My son is bf and would spit up ALOOOOOOTTTT! I thought it would never end I've heard some kids don't outgrow it until 12m glad that wasn't our case
Does he have reflux maybe? I would look up GERD symptoms and see if maybe that’s it? My daughter is two months and this sounds like her (except we only use breast milk) but she was constant spitting up a lot and arching her back when she would eat and crying. Found out it was reflux now she’s on meds that are helping it.
My son did . I found out I had to burp him after ever ounce . he stopped spitting up at 5m
🙄 baby keeps vomiting, not just a little spit up, it’s not every bottle it’s kinda random. He burps a lot. I don’t think I’m over feeding him. Went through the same thing with my daughter but she was older. With her we switched formula and it stopped happening. He’s on the formula that we switched to, maybe I should try the regular stuff for him? Idk I’m so lost. Hate seeing my baby do that 💔
Okay, I cant take seeing my baby like this anymore . What saved your life helping a baby with a milk allergy and acid reflux ? He’s on nutramigen and it’s helped with his spit up not being clumpy and rotten but the spit up is still so much and 4-5 times every feeding . I’ve tried 2 medicines . Multiple formulas . He screams the second he stops feeding until he burps and it all comes out . I dont know what else to do for him 😭😭
My baby was on enfamil gentlease but he was throwing up with it so they switched him to enfamil nutramigen and hes throwing up a ton more with it like alot hes been on it since 9/20 what should i do?
Momma's that Formula Feed..
Do your babies spit up after? And if they do how much? My daughter will be fed and burped and she'll spit up an hour or two hours later and its a lot. Anyone else experiencing this?
So my son has recently switched formula, due to him being colicky.. the pediatrician gave us similac alimentum formula to try for a week.. this happend on Thursday, it’s now Monday he is better BUT the smell 🤢 #ohmygoshh it smells horrible & he has been spitting some milk out after each feeding... when he burbs he gags, and I don’t blame him... I hope they can give him another formula with the same affect but better smell cause I can tell he isn’t liking the smell or taste of it... he’s also eat...
@nickii92, thank you!
