I need help!!! My one year old, almost two, sleeps through the night but leaks through his diapers during the night. We go to bed at 9 and we wake up at 1030 the next morning (idk how he can sleep so long lol), but we use parent choice, I love the quality of them but they’re not really good for nighttime. Can anyone please give me some tips? We’re trying out potty training and he’s doing great!!!

You could change him at night, most diapers aren’t made to be worn 12 hours..... My son sleeps like that and just pick him up once a night and change him he doesn’t even wake up most nights

I would recommend going up a size definitely and maybe trying Luvs, I used to use parents choice with my son but I like Luvs so much better and they have a slight baby powder scent

You can always put a maxi pad in his diaper, go up a size or just try another brand. We ain't used up and up from Target for my daughter from day one I told her last and diapers and never had an issue. We never bought pullups for my dd. They really just over proced diapees and in my opinion a big waist of money.

@maddisonfish, girl I get it but the pull ups will help a ton once you get consistent with it throughout the day. But I know we started out at night and just put regular diapers on my daughter during the day for a while . They held up better because they were meant for kids having accidents throughout the night and stuff. That or try a different brand of diaper. I like luvs too ! But either way it should help a little bit if that’s something you can do :)

@jdeflipp, thank you!! With me working, his dad working, and my dad being the care taker for us, he doesn’t have a potty seat there and he doesn’t expect us to pay him for watching him, or even for food and necessities. Doesn’t expect me to bring anything but him and his bottle and his jacket. So I gotta see if he’ll actually let me bring a potty chair over there when I buy one for him Friday. But knowing my dad “no madds it’s fine!! I can buy one” it’s like ughhh

You can try 1 size up. The higher the size the more absorbency.

Since you’re trying out potty training I’d invest in pull ups. Even if you just use them over night for now. They really saved me with my daughter
