Has anyone’s baby been on antibiotic ear drops for ear infection? Jw because dr say that drops are ineffective in children and only oral suspension works. Well..my baby has ear infection and amoxicillin is giving him bad diarrhea and poor guy is in more distress then before

My son just finished with ear drops and amoxicillin , he's 2 1/2, he had a fluid build up in his ear which ruptured his ear drum. I wouldn't stop the antibiotics, finish them and give pedialyte to keep up fluids since he has diarrhea, the antibiotics unfortunately will cause diarrhea.
