How is the pharmacy going to give me a medicine that’s supposed to be a shot but don’t give me the needle for it!? 🤦🏻 ♀

Did the doctor give you a separate prescription for needles apart from the medication?

@mommy_x3, normally it’s two prescriptions one for medication one for needles even if the medication box says use with needles. Talk to your doctor or ask the pharmacy for samples we used to give out samples when the doctor didn’t send over a prescription for needles

When I would get the depo id have to get the liquid bring it to the dr and he would use a needle from the office. I thought it was so strange

When o worked in a pharmacy I would literally annoy the crap out of the doctors to send over prescriptions for needles cause they would always “forget” I would call and the doctor would say that he would send it over right away and I’m like “you can literally just tell me and I will write it down there is no need for you to send it when I have you on the phone right now “ ugh doctor offices are so annoying

You need a script for the needle. When I gave myself insulin injections I had to have two scripts -- needles and meds.

@mariacardnz123, yeah I had no idea I need two different prescriptions, guess they forgot to send it for the needle 🤷🏻‍♀️
