Today my doctor told me that there is a really good chance that I'll have my c-section either Thursday or Friday next week I'm so ready to be done but super nervous at the same time Wednesday I'll be 37 weeks
@richins, I actually had pre-eclampsia with my second son and that’s why I had a scheduled c-section! Have they given you the steroid shots for his lungs to mature faster? It’s nothing to mess around with, I was diagnosed at 33 weeks and was put on super strict bed rest until I had to deliver. My doctor let me go until 39 weeks, but he was still a little smaller than my first son because of the preeclampsia. Don’t stress yourself out over it (I know it’s easier said than done). I’m sure you and baby are in great hands, especially the fact that your doctor is doing this to make sure the both of you will be okay. As far as for the tubes being tied, I didn’t get that done so I don’t have any insight on that unfortunately lol
@kristenmarie my first son was a emergency c-section and that was such a scary feeling being wheeled back to the room and just wanting us both to be ok (I was having blood pressure problems and my sons heart rate was dropping). This time I'm having a scheduled c-section on the 16th of may because again once I got pregnant I started having blood pressure problems. Today he said he doesn't think I'm gonna be able to make it until the 16th because I'm showing the signs of Preclampsia. I just nervous about the surgery part I just want him to be ok not have any issues being born a little early. Plus now its getting really real lol I'll be getting my tubes tied so its a bitter sweet feeling knowing I'll get to start feeling myself again but it'll be my last pregnancy, I'm sure in my decision for health reasons but still sad at the same time
If you don’t mind me asking, why are you getting a c-section? And they aren’t that bad, both my boys were c-sections! My oldest was an emergency c-section and the other was planned because I had health problems. What makes it terrifying is the unknown, going in the second time was so smooth for me!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
@kristenmarie no steroids for me he said after 34 weeks they don't really make a difference, they did a ultrasound where they watched his lungs and said that he's doing alot of practice breathing and that they weren't too concerned as long as I made it until 37 weeks, I'm getting checked again on Tuesday to make sure everything is still ok enough to leave till my ob appointment on Thursday
