How many mamas started taking birth control after their baby was born? How long after?
@leroydoom, thank you so much I will take it into consideration
@plumm I haven't had any major issues, just the usual mild weight gain, I did have light to medium spotting for about three weeks that I started to think would never stop lol I had it in for three years and had that one removed and my second put in about six months. (3 years is how long it last)
Some women experience heavier bleeding, headaches, mood swings. Its injected under the skin so that's a turn off for some. I like it though but its definitely not for everyone. If you decide to get it and start experiencing a lot adverse side effects, don't hesitate to have it removed.
P.s.
I like that I have no period 👌
I got lucky I guess because some women still have periods while on it.
@leroydoom, thanks for your responses! How did the nexplanon work for you?
A lot of women don't want to be on birth control after baby out of fear that it might mess up their milk supply, but there's non hormonal options that are supposed to be less interfering.
When mine was about 8 months old, I didn't have insurance at the time but was tired of being paranoid about getting pregnant again (it was starting to ruin our sex life) so I went to a free clinic and had my first nexplanon put in.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
