I nursed my son til 1 year and 7 months.. I would apply lemon around my nipples and he would be grossed out by it. He did cry though, A LOT! But I tried giving him lots of cuddles and carried him, rocked him and tried to substitute my breast milk for gallon milk and he eventually got over the boob.. The first couple days were the toughest for us but then it gradually eases

My son still LOVES grabbing onto my boobs to sleep but he doesn’t nurse anymore

You can just go cold turkey! @samanthaann did it that way. Ive been weaning him, only allowing him to nurse 10-20 minutes and after that he just gets water or warm milk with honey

@pierced_momma, i only nurse him before his nap and bed time.. he nurses for comfort as well.. I’m just going nuts already !! 😂

My son has the same shirt! I havent stopped yet (mostly because I still want to) but I only feed him during nap time and bed time, give him more food if he wants to. Thats how my son goes all day without feeding for hunger

Yes the way I did it with my daughter was aloe the plant I put the slime it has around my nipples before it was time to feed and she was like eww nasty and stopped breastfeeding the same day I was really lucky but I tried everything they told me to try till my mom was like this is our last option and it worked.
