They didn’t give you a reason? That is really odd. I personally wouldn’t induce before 40 weeks unless something is wrong with the baby. You’re more likely to end up with a c-section.

You can tell the doctor you don’t want one if you’re not comfortable. I had my son at 41 weeks the night before my induction... and I was dreading that induction. I got a membrane sweep and went into labor on my own the same day.

@taylorsmommy1017, I feel you. If I have no choice I will choice to be in induced cause that’s what best for her but I really pray it doesn’t come to that..

@brianna.bruch, I’ve been over 40 weeks before with my oldest. And with this being baby #3 and never been induced before- I could end up needing a c section. Don’t want that..

@girlmom., That’s odd that they haven’t talked about induction still. I am doing mine right now and they told me that I may not have her still and have to come back and try it again in two days but they definitely don’t want me going over 40 weeks...

@taylorsmommy1017, really?! This is news to me.. I’m 40 weeks as of today, and they don’t want to induce me cause there’s a risk of it not working...
