@kirstynnicole, breastmilk doesn’t do that to their teeth. Mostly because it’s tailored to what they need. Also there’s 2x LESS sugar in our breastmilk than there is in cows milk. (Which is what is usually in the bottle at night time after 1)

So far, my daughters teeth look good. This year she’ll be going for her first dentist appointment.

@santistevanmommie, I know a few mommas who breastfed till about 3 because their kids didn’t want to stop they would cry, my only concern would be teeth rotting.

@mamaof2here, she has a milk protein allergy so milk could very well be out of the picture for her. Maybe I can do almond milk. But I also only breastfed no bottles, I tried bottles a few times and she would gag and cried and pumping was just to much for me and I couldn’t keep up so I’d end up engorged.

My daughter is 2 and she CAN go to sleep without it. Most nights she still gets it but I’ve put her to bed without it many times
