Honestly don’t know what’s gotten into my daughter lately...she’s getting to where she pushes other kids down and takes toys from them in nursery. She just acts like a bully, and anytime she doesn’t get her way, all hell breaks loose. Her dad and I both try several different ways of discipline. Yes I believe in being stern & popping them on the butt or the hand, and I believe in time out, but those ways don’t seem to work with her. I’ve tried to get eye level with her, asking her what’s wrong and just allowing her express her emotions as well until she was done, that doesn’t seem to really be helping either. Is anyone else dealing with this?? I feel like being pregnant just makes it a little harder, especially when I know the baby will look up to her and follow what she does. I love her and being her mom has definitely built my patience, but boy is it hard some days.

@ablaub, the thing is she’s very sweet and delicate to my belly most of the time because she knows her baby sister is in there. She will kiss it and rub it and talk to her really sweetly, and she genuinely seems excited about the baby, and anytime she sees little babies she gets really excited. I do think it may be her just acting out though, maybe because she knows things are about to change.

She probably doesn't like to share, play games with her that involves sharing. My daughter teaches my son to share things because he was being a bully to her, he has gotten better he shares everything now.

@uncouth, toddler behavior, I believe that. Just hard when she’s the only toddler that does it most the time. Makes me feel like she’s the minority lol
