How do I get my 2 year old to stop touching his poop in his diaper?!!!
It’s not like I let him walk around in poop for a long time. I’ll be doing dishes and not notice that he’s pooping. He’ll come up to me and tell me that he pooped but he’s already touched his poop by then.
HELP!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Mommas I need advice. Kynton gets a super bad rash when he poops. From one poop and maybe 45 seconds of him being in that diaper turns his butt bright red and blisters. We only use Huggies and Pampers diapers. Could it be disposables that do this? The gel stuff mixing with his poop that creates the rash?? And should I try a few cloths to see if it helps? Or what do I do. He poops at least 2 times if not sometimes more a day. And it puts him in agonising pain. His Drs said don't worry but his Booty is always red, bleeding and hurts him.
I just want this pregnancy to be healthy and stress free. This is very special for my boyfriend because he’s been in prison pretty much half of his life & never got to experience any of this. He’s so happy right now. He’s been home for 2 years now & worked his way to the top & now we’re having a baby 😊 He keeps telling me he wants to go to all the parenting classes & everything. He’s coming with me Monday just to watch me do more bloodwork 😂🥰. The way we met is so crazy but as he said in the end, the best part of it all was meeting me & now we’re having a baby.

@dazzlingmommy, I have tried that! When he poops in his potty he get a lil Reese’s cup or lil gummies as rewards. And before I ever started disciplining him on touching his poop I would talk to him about it but he never listened or cared. He’s a stubborn little boy

I found praising my son when he’s being good about something instead of waiting until he did something wrong and disciplining him has worked very well! Also, talking to him and explaining things to him has helped a ton!
For instance, when he’s not throwing his food on the ground I tell him “You’re being such a good boy not throwing your food on the ground.” And I’ll keep telling him that in different ways until he is finished eating. Same thing for when he wants to go outside, I’ll tell him “I’m sorry but we can’t go outside right now because _____.” He May be upset but he won’t throw a tantrum like he did when I just tell him “No!”
So in your case keep reminding him to poop in his potty but to also not touch his poop. I know it sounds silly, but just say “you’re being a good boy not touching your poop!” Or “big boys don’t touch their poop because it will make you sick” etc. etc. Also try to pay attention to him around the time he usually poops or when you think it’s coming- that’ll be the best time to tell him the above.
If disciplining hasn’t worked, try communication and explaining things to him. They understand more than you think even though they can’t quite talk very well. Toddlers are little explorers so they want to get into everything and maybe they know they aren’t supposed to do something but telling them WHY they can’t do it will give them more understanding. Communication is key! 😊

I am potty training him and we are half way there in understanding to use the potty. I let him walk around without a diaper so he knows he has to use the potty. But when we go out or have visitors over I put a diaper on him. And him putting his toys away won’t do anything cos he knows he has to clean up his toys after using them and he’s really good at picking up. I’m lost in ideas of how to punish him on touching his poop
