Question: at what are do you ladies fell it’s appropriate for your teenager to hangout at te mall with their crush/boy/girlfriend? Would you allow them to be alone or you with them?

Yes girl 😩 I say just stand your ground. If she shows some discipline and respect she can have freedoms
@kambam, yes. And when I try to talk to her and explain the reasons for us not allowing her to go and what not she gets so upset and it gets ugly. Ughh it’s so difficult raising a teen, especially now in day
Oh then I'd definitely not be into it if she's already stepping boundaries. She needs to work on her attitude.
I’ve gotten into arguments with my husband to allow her to do things and she still acts out
@kambam, she just admires her friends so much that she feel the need to do what they do and think she won’t get caught, when in reality she always gets caught.
I understand she’s a teen and I put myself in her shoes but I’ve also let her do things that I never got to do and she still does me wrong.
@kambam, that’s the issue, she lies constantly and when we do let her go out or do things we normally don’t she acts out.
I totally get both sides but you have to give your kids some freedoms or they'll find a way to do it against your wishes anyway. If she does what she's supposed to when she's out like being home on time or at pick up on time,.maybe she can FaceTime time you or at least always call. If it goes well then great! If not I'd say never again
@kambam, 16 I feel is a good age to be alone in te mall. My daughter is 14 and she wants to walk alone with her “friend”.... I am not too fond of that I told her if she wants to we can all walk together. Of course she got mad, which makes me not want to do it if she’s going to be acting like this.
I'd say 16 alone but make sure you have "the talk" they know about sex and all the dangers that come with it. A lot of parents like to use gps for their kids/teens now just in case of emergency. You never know. There's free gps family tracking apps for most phones.

Soooo when you catch someone in a major lie but you don't want to blast them, what do you do? I now have no respect for them...
I think it should be like a set period of time that she has to 1) behave 2) have a good attitude 3) be doing well in school 4) staying out of trouble, that she then can earn the trust that comes with the freedoms she wants. And then as long as she is maintaining she can have her freedom.
