Not trying to say anything bad The chick who saying milk isn’t good for them isn’t all that wrong. I don’t agree with everything she said. I always go to American academy of pediatrics website if I’m unsure. It led me to this link ссылка

But I believe everyone parents differently so I do not like to judge or say don’t do that. Etc.

Idk if you went and read the article @momma2twinies but I opened it and title was about SUPPLEMENTING formula or BM with cows milk.....😑

Spoonfulone.com is a company I just recently found. Talks about introducing foods and allergies.

@momma2twinies, I don’t see why you have to get permission from people on HERE about anything lol.

But my doctor was so casual about it. He came in for a sick visit at like 10 months ish, and she was like “is he on milk yet?” Lmao.

She never told us when to switch, and she never made a deal about switching. I’m the one who brought it up at our 12 month visit. His pediatrician was my pediatrician growing up, and look at that, I’m still alive.

People are so ridiculous sometimes.

@oktoberwitch me too! I just started trying them on it like 5 days ago and this is the 3rd time they've tried it... Their Dr probably wouldn't say anything about it if I told him but I don't see why Is have to get permission to give my babies stuff. People over react alot I guess

@momma2twinies, the problems usually develop later on in life BUT like you said, it’s lactose free, it’s just a couple sips, they’re at that age where it’s okay for them to start trying new things, and ITS NO ONES BUSINESS.

If they were like 5 or 6 months old I’d be like ☹️ but probably wouldn’t say anything. I fucking HATE when people think they’re doctors!

@oktoberwitch they've been doing so well with it so I don't see the problem. I don't go on people's posts and say they shouldn't do this or that I don't know why people can't just keep scrolling lol

@oktoberwitch i gave my oldest daughter milk at 11 months and now her stomach is messed up. I waited for my middle child a she's fine. For this child I'm not even planning on giving her milk at all unless she has occasional icecream. Milk is not meant for us humans and is meant for calves who need to absorb all those high fats, high proteins etc

@oktoberwitch sora has a lactose allergy that is why I give them the lactose free milks. I don't see why people have a problem with it. I only give them a little bit here and there very other day or two days and that's only once and give them juices and water between meals

@roguemommyofjx3, you actually want to start giving them milk A LITTLE BIT right before 12 months.

They should still be mainly having breast milk, formula, and water, but you want to be sure of a lactose allergy before fully switching them to milk at 12 months and giving them a bit (usually supposed to be added to formula to make a half and half) can help you asses what allergies they’re having.

@roguemommyofjx3 I've been giving them water, juice, tea and other stuff since they were 6months or so. They have been doing well

But giving them any other drink other than what I mentioned above can be bad for them.

@roguemommyofjx3 no I didnt. I think i can make decisions without the Dr's approval if I feel need be.

Did you get the doctors go to start milk? They should only be having breastmilk or formula and water the first year.
