*Petty Rant*
Ok so my baby shower is on Saturday the 21st, and I have 3 registries. Babies R'us, BuyBuy Baby, and Target... in case people like certain stores. Absolutely NOTHING has been bought off my registries at all and it's aggravating me because 1) I don't want multiples of the same stuff and 2) because I don't want anymore clothes.. my son has so much clothes in every size up until 24 months!! It's not like I put the most expensive things on my registries. I have simple things that I really need for him still. My fiancé and I already talked and I told him that it's a baby shower, you can't show up to a baby shower without a gift for one and if I get doubles I will politely ask for receipts so I can exchange for what I need. Same goes for clothes, if people give me clothes I'm going to ask for a receipt so I can exchange for what I need. I know it sounds really petty but we have a small place and not a whole lot of closet space and he only has two dressers which are on the smaller side so I really don't want things we don't need.
*Rant Over*
Just ask where they got it and bring it back most will exchange for a gift card
But baby clothes is the main thing everyone loves to buy bc well they’re cute!
That will drive me nuts. I'm running out of space and I still need sheets and stuff like that
I'd love that!! I just hope no one buys clothes 😫 I honestly feel like if I open a gift with clothes in it I'm going to cry
My baby shower is Sunday and no one has bought anything either lol I just hope they give me gift cards at least so I can just go buy what I need myself
That'll be even better then because I really don't want to come off as rude or ungrateful I just really don't want a million of the same things
I felt the same way, literally 2 days before my baby shower maybe 3 things were bought off of it. But everyone showed up with a gift. Not many people buy off registries or they may look at what you need from the registry and buy it elsewhere. I wouldn’t ask for receipts because it can come off rude to some people. Just nicely ask where they bought it from and leave it at that. Most stores if you explain that it was a baby shower gift they will happily exchange it or give you a gift card with the refund without a receipt, just make sure you keep the tags on it. I returned a bunch of things from my baby shower with no receipts and had no issues.
Ugh like seriously!! We didn't just make them for the heck of it. I swear I'm going to crack at my baby shower if I get clothes though.
I know the feeling no one got anything off my registries and I got doubles of many things, very annoying. Like there's a reason for them people!
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
So I did my baby shower registry today and feel like I went a little overboard I don't except everything to be bought but ended up with 70 items. curious on how.many items.you.ladies ended up.with on your registry?
I need help!!!
So i dont know what presents to give at my baby shower from the winners of the games!!
Any ideas??
I really don’t want to be ungrateful but I feel like everyone is only buying us baby clothes as gifts for my shower. I made a registry for a reason cause I don’t need any clothes but there are other great things that are inexpensive that I really could use. I feel like a jerk.. I just know I’m going to end up returning everything and just getting the things from the registry that I need. I feel ppl hear baby and just buy clothes.. I’m incredibly grateful anyone would even take the time and buy u...
I should and I know!! I don't want to seem ungrateful, he just has so much clothes I could open a store
