No problem! I have a company laptop right now because my current position uses a specialized software that wouldn’t work on a phone or my personal laptop. Generally, though, if you’re doing contract/remote work you provide your own equipment. Sometimes you can use a phone, sometimes you need a laptop, it depends on what exactly it is you’re doing.

I do. I design online learning courses for organizations that have volunteers so that volunteers can take their required trainings from home. There are lots of jobs in IT and related fields that let you work remotely/from home. If you check the “careers” sections of company websites for large tech companies (Amazon, Google, etc.) there’s usually an option to filter for “telecommuting” opportunities, which is just the fancy term for “work from home”.
