@destiny7685, lmao yes I use to use shimmer lights I use to do highlights in my natural hair, I couldn’t believe my hair turned out this dark, it makes me sad lol I miss my blonde so much. My fiancé just said he’s gonna take me to get my hair done before our wedding

My hair is a natural really dark brown. It looks black until I step into the sunlight. I did color it jet black though and you can use a strip kit first and then color it which ever shade of blonde you want. Idk if y'all have a Sally's wherever it is you are but they also have stuff you put in your hair for the ugly yellow and orange. Oh and that's my baby daddy's bday 😂

@jennyandjamey, clarifying shampoo slowly strips the color out of your hair without damaging it. Secondly I had my hair completely black, since being pregnant it’s too hard to maintain and expensive so I let my natural grow out some and went to have my hair professionally lightened and the woman matched the highlights to my natural color so it all blends. My natural is a light brown with a hint of red.

@jade2017, when I was younger I did it this dark and got it back to blonde I just can’t remember how I did it lol the only time I’ve ever got my hair professionally done was to get highlights but that’s been a long time ago

@jennyandjamey itd be super orange if u did it now to that date. Id agree with her and get foils but toned or do light brown with hi lights for more blonde look. Thats probably the best you could get since its so close but congrats on your wedding!

As a professional, I have had clients spend over 600 dollars (in time) to go back to blonde. Box is the hardest color to get out

If you box die your hair there is no possible way you will get blonde in one or two or three sittings and without spending a lot. Get a full foil and have them tone it. Doing foils gradually is the safest and least expensive way to do it because it looks good through every stage to get to where you want it

@jade2017, yeah, see when I did it this color it wasn’t suppose to be so dark, it was suppose to be a dark brown not black lol

Since your hair is so dark now i wouldnt advise going blonde so fast because if would really damage your hair and maybe wouldnt be the shade u want You could go to a lighter brown then do some hi lights but thats still cutting it close.
