Hey mamas! Do y’all wash pillows or just replace them?

@jasminemcmahon30, yep. All the inexpensive pillows. I just wash two at a time on the gentle cycle. Tap / Cold water. And then tumble dry on low / no heat with the tennis balls. Sometimes it takes four or five cycles in the dryer to completely dry.

@jennatess, do you wash the pillows alone?

I buy super expensive pillows for our bedroom, so those I have dry cleaned. But, the pillows in my daughters room, and in the guest rooms I just wash and tumble dry on low with tennis balls in the dryer once a month. I also have two sets of sheets for each bed in the house, and those get switched once a week.

Yes, I do an extra spin cycle to get all the excess water out. I also throw my converse in with them so when I toss them in the dryer they done come out all lumpy.

Replace after 6 months. I will spray them with disinfectant spray every time I wash our bedding- every week

Wash every month. I'll replace it if it gets to flat about 5-7 years lol
