Can anyone help me, so don't understand this nursery milarky 😂 Charlie turns 2 in a couple of weeks…

It would probably depend on nursery. But yeah say sounds about rugby they would go by the term times x

@rachaellw I just assumed he could start as soon as he turns 2, but I guess it makes sense to not bring him in mid term. Ah well, it's not a big deal I'll pay privately until September, just wasn't aware they start the term after there birthday. I wonder if it's the same if you take them to a nursery that isn't within a primary school x

He's 2 on the very last day of April so I guess he won't be allowed to start until September @ezchaz. Bit of a pain in the ass ain't it? And it's the only school locally that actually take 2 year olds, the previous 3 I phoned up that are near me don't take them until they're 3! It's £6 an hour if I want to start him early, which I think isn't too bad so might have to do that for 2, 3 hour slots a week x

@lindaandaria It just vary then, as she was adamant he can't start until September. I might look about at some other nurseries, all the ones left involve a bus ride which is a bit of a pain when he's only there for a few hours x

Yeah it seems right, he most likely just missed out on april term. Scarletts 2 at the start of May and if she was eligible for funding we wouldn't get it until September even though she's already in a private nursery x

Yeh that's correct. It's the term after their birthday. Morgan turned 3 in May but I didn't get his hours until the September lol.

His 15 hours funding wont come in until the term after hes 3 hun ie birthday in october funding comes in in january. He will get 2 year funding of you get certain benefits (hours are 12.5). Xx
