@michellewiggins1985, tbh from what i’ve heard, those jobs are all the same. good idea, i’d do that if i were in your shoes too. 🤷🏻‍♀️ at the end of the day your health is top priority right now 🤰🏻

@mistybabie I might just get signed off again by the gp as my surgery is 3 weeks Wednesday. They don't care about the staff that's the problem xx

@michellewiggins1985, that is ridiculous. i’d be taking a “personal day” as they can’t really question you on that.

@mistybabie I just asked for day before my surgery off and got told why do you need the day before off cos you will just sleep after surgery. It's a joke x

@michellewiggins1985, aye my sister works in the dementia unit as well, shes patient i tell you that 🤷🏻‍♀️ would not be me. i can imagine, she is never allowed any time off always decline her holiday requests 🙄

@em93bbourn, yeah, she’s forever covered in cuts and bruises. i think if you absolutely MUST, go for a wee waitressing job or something that isn’t such a serious career thing.

@mistybabie I agree I am a carer and I worked in very difficult situations when I was pregnant as I work with dementia. I have recently gone back and am ill awaiting surgery and they are being funny about it x

that’s a dangerous job while pregnant, my sister is a carer and she gets kicked, punched, scratched and bitten most days. personally, i wouldn’t be going for it at all, need to keep yourself and baby safe x

@ezchaz, honestly it’s my boyfriend making me feel like I have to work it’s actually getting to the point where it’s getting me down I need to be concentrating on preparing for this baby and all I can think about is him thinking I’m not working. I need to talk to him & say it’s not happening because I do know deep down it’s not realistic xxx

Yeah I never told her I was pregnant either but I’m sure I’d have too then if there are things I couldn’t do.. and yeah I’m going to call her and say there are too many issues lol xx

@em93bbourn it's prob not worth it if your 17 weeks gone the dbs can take a while to come back and also with care there will be certain things your not allowed to do x

@em93bbourn yeah I honestly wouldn't bother cause I'm sure you need to work a certain amount of time to get maternity pay off work x

@nataliielouiseexo, yeah that’s true would be unsettling being there for a short amount of time & having to leave she did say she wants a long term employee as well 😐 x

if it was me I wouldn't, realistically your maternity could start at 30 weeks x
