Your post isn't very enlightening on your situation but in my experience if someone doesn't want to get help or try to change they won't. I waited 7 years for a man to change who never did even after we had a son together.

I'm sorry. I'm very gullible too. My ex needed to be on meds but refused and ended up being abusive because of it. But I kept listening to his promises to get help. I hope things get better and he changes for u and your kids.

@50.shades.of.tired ugh, listening to promises is the worst. Im trying to stop doing it. Then I keep trying to forgive to, but not sure where to draw the line

@cbrebelkat that's the hardest part with someone we love. We never want to say no or give up on them.

Went through this exact thing! No sense in waiting on something that won't happen and you see so many horror stories..it's not worth the risk...ever. 14 months and my son's father has never met him. Acted upset at first but has never bothered to come around and I don't want him to. Don't and havent recieved anything from him. It was horrible at first and hard getting rid of him but im grateful for it! Hang in there girl.
