Is it normal to start to swell after a c section? Not just your stomach but your legs, feet and face?

I know the iv liquids can make you swell

I'm guessing you still have your stitches? One of the best pieces of advice I got was walk hunched over instead of trying to walk straight. I also used to walk holding my belly. That's good, how many days supply have they given you? Dxx

@emilyjayne27 Yeah they're dizzolveable ones. And that's what I do now. And I had one injection in hospital and 10 day supply for home xx

Oh okay, did they say how long they'd take to dissolve? As I didn't have them. You'll find walking a lot easier when they're gone. That's good then sweet :) xx

I don't remember having it, but I've just had a google and a few women had it. Phone your midwife in the morning. How's your LO? Xx

@emilyjayne27 Did you belly swell around your scar? And I will do. And she's fine shes a bit jaundice now but we are taking her out for a little bit tomorrow and making sure she's getting light xx

If I remember rightly it did yeah feels really numb and hard if I press on it. Oh bless her, if it's too cold/rainy put her by the window. Xx

Keep an eye on that tell the midwife. Have you still got your ted stockings? Xx

@megan-leigh, I can’t believe they did that. When I had swelling my midwife was very keen to monitor it and advised I kept wearing my teds xx
