@nerdymommyplus2, haha that’s so true. I’m weird though. I soak up the cold when I come to northern states. I hate how hot it gets in MS. But yeah, in MS, you layer up in weather 60 or below. It’s a rule, or something Lol

Yeah but it's funny watching people from the south wear jacket below 50 because it's cold . It was chilly Tuesday but it felt great today. My oldest walked out, and said "mom I don't even need a jacket " 😂
@nerdymommyplus2, girl, I am loving this weather. I’m from the butthole of America where there’s no such thing as seasons. Just humidity. I haven’t worn a jacket up here this whole week and my husband’s family thinks I’m crazy lol I’m like “it feels amazing outside”

Yes it's supposed to be pretty this week /weekend. I was trying to convince my oldest to have her birthday there because it's only 22$ per kid and that includes food and admission but she said no she wants to cookout at the park where we hike 🙄😂

I think we’re actually doing the zoo later this week. My husband’s aunt invited us to go with them and I just couldn’t resist. The closest zoo from back home is over an hour away.

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
