Does anyone else know a mom who lies about breastfeeding? The girl who works with me claims her baby…

How old is the baby?

I mean you don’t know if she pumps at home, has reserve etc. I think it’s better to not judge her or assume she is lying. I breastfeed and that’s all that matters is what me and my baby do not what other mothers do or say they do

How does she deal with not being engorged? How long are her shifts?

How old is the child? She could very well have a good stash and oversupply.

@amouryaya09 that I could not deal with I had oversupply so even an hour goes by and I was dying lol

@roguemommyofjx3, that’s what I’m saying. I could barely go to the store let alone work a shift. Lol

I never pumped while at work I would before and after work

I didn't pump at work either. My body adjusted and I would pump before and after work. Worked for me.

She says it takes her 2 hours to get home. According to my calculations there is no way in hell she exclusively breastfeeds her baby when she doesn’t pump at least once during that span of time. I can’t go over 3 hours or my boobs are screaming at me. Her baby is a week younger so he just turned 5 months. I don’t see nothin wrong with both bottle feeding and breastmilk feeding your baby, but she goes around telling people that it’s so “hard” to breastfeed. And i do have a problem with that. Don’t talk the talk if you aren’t going to put in the work. Don’t boast that things are hard when you clearly aren’t 100% breastfeeding.

@mumstasin could she have a wireless pump in her breast? Is there anyway she's pumping in the bathroom?

@roguemommyofjx3, she’s not pumping in the bathroom or in her breast wirelessly. She has the Medela one and we get a private room. I always tell her if she needs to go before me or after me, and she says she’ll wait until she gets home. My manager looks at me crazy cause I go every 3 hours and she doesn’t understand why... when the other girl can wait all day. Then one day she was saying how “bad” formula is. I’m just looking at her like 🙄

@mumstasin. Yes something is not right. If she is nursing her supply will be gone soon.

My sister exclusively breastfed but my niece was 6 or 7 months old and eating solids. She didn’t need to pump during school because she went 4 hours. Once she started working her supply adjusted and she didn’t pump at work. But to go 10+ hours with out relief is outrageous. Because I was a exclusively pumping mom and once 2.5/3 hours hit my boobs new it.
