@jennyandjamey, that girl is so sketchy u want the father to have nothing to do with the child but u want the child to know it’s history and then u want the child to have a relationship with its siblings but still not the father girl bye it doesn’t work like that u want dna it comes with rights lbs.. that girl sounds crazy I would ignore her too

@jennyandjamey unless she gets it court ordered then just ignore her! At least if you do it through Court your husband can request visitation and at that point it is not her choice

@mommaxbearx, we’ve been engaged for 3 years lol but he re proposed a little while ago. And we’re getting married next month. And yes maam 3 possible dads but two are dead so I figure that’s why she’s trying to go after him.

@jennyandjamey, it seems to me that she is again attempting to slither her way back in to cause problems maybe she has seen how great you guys have been doing / how happy you are and is trying to ruin it. With that being said the kid might be his, in a way I kind of hope the kid isn't because she seems like a drama filled person and you two seem mature and just want to continue living your lives. Were you two just recently engaged or have been engaged for a while? If it was recently that could be another reason she wants the attention back on her. so from what I have gathered there are 3 possible fathers?

@mommaxbearx, honestly the past 4 years have been living hell when it comes to her she has tried repeatedly to break us up over the years. But we got past it and now this comes up and this is why I want it done and out of the way. That and I do believe the kid is my fiancé’s after seeing pictures

I hope you don't mind me also saying that I cannot stand how she doesn't want the bio father involved, there's just something about females who do that without cause that grinds my gears. Especially if your fiancé wants to be involved. & from what I have seen, it seems like he is a GREAT father to yours and a great soon to be husband to you. I will see what I can find out for you Hun, I totally understand why you hate the situation I went through something similar you're lucky though because she seems to want to be civil and is able/willing to communicate with you unlike my husbands ex whore of a baby momma who did everything to try and break us up ( none of which worked, obviously ) she even went as far as saying that I gave him chlamydia and he gave it to her ( I was just tested and so was he neither of us had it but she did ( again, whore. ) lol.

@mommaxbearx, I’d appreciate it lol I hate the whole situation. But it honestly needs to be done to get it out of the way and if the child is his he can get to know it considering it’s already 4 and never has once seen him

@jennyandjamey, oh well that sucks. - if you want, I can talk to my husbands friend who went through this with his baby momma in court and find out more for you. Hopefully that helps.

Oh also this is important if she ends up taking him to court ( I found this out from a family friend ) that if the child ends up being his than he would have to pay for the cost of the DNA test and vice versa - Also the court approved DNA test is more expensive and if say you both planned on taking her to court and decide to do the DNA test out of court it HAS TO BE court approved either way.

@jennyandjamey, yeah about child support even if the ex girlfriend doesn't want child support there's this thing called " FRO " that basically will force her to go after him for child support. They pretty much enforce it. I only know this because of my husbands ex/whore of a baby momma. They even set the amount depending on how much he makes etc.

@jennyandjamey, when she had that other man sign the birth certificate I’m pretty sure she signed away the right to go after the bio dad I know once my husband adopts my son and signs the new certificate I can no longer go after the sperm donor for anything

Honestly just tell your husband not to do the dna test she knowingly put the wrong father down she can’t make him do it unless he wants to be apart of the boys life he can just tell her no

Oh also if he is found to be the father and has to pay support they will go thru a placement counseling thing and legally your husband will end up with partial custody they rarely give one parent sole custody anymore

if she knowingly put the wrong father on the birth certificate she can get in legal trouble lying on a legal document

if he is found to be the father he will be required to pay child support if she gets any benefits from the state(Medicaid or food stamps)

This is what they told me

If the baby is proven to be his then she can collect child support from him regardless if he hasn't seen the kid, if it's his then some sort of agreement can be made or they can go to court to determine what the visitation will be

, if they want him to do a dna test to prove he is the father then they need to let him be apart of that child’s life.. it sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me just to get some money.. I’d say f them and they can figure it out I wouldn’t do a dna test cause it just sounds like a set up for some money but yet they don’t want that child to know about their real father... how many people really ask for dna testing for medical reason unless there was a concern for the child presently

@tayler, I agree. I’m gonna talk to him about it later if I can. And I’m also gonna talk to his ex girlfriend about it to.

And if that happens he needs to fight for visitation or joint custody.

@nikki9109, exactly what I thought. I mean I’m all for them doing the test and stuff but they also don’t wanna let my fiancé around the kid, I’m sorry but if he has to pay child support for the kid he better get to see his child

Once he is proven the father they will go after him for support.

Once proven it’s his I’m pretty sure he can put on child support regardless of who is on the birth certificate I wouldn’t trust it
