When do you tell your parents they’re going to be grandparents? Should I even tell my parents since we haven’t been on good terms since May? Should we just tell his? Everyone says wait till you’re out of the first trimester while others say they felt resentment for telling them so late.

If I was you I would tell them sooner then later just because you don't want to add fuel to the fire and if I was them no matter what was going on I would feel like they would want to share that moment with you.
