What’s the weight limit for rear facing??
Or do we wait until two years??
@diegosmommy0213, that’s good! Always go with what you feel is best:)) my son is pretty small. He’s 27lbs so I guess waiting a bit wouldn’t be so bad
@lilbensmomma
As long as he's safely in his limits of his seat then I wouldn't rush to turn him :)
@nerdymommyplus2, ooooooooh super good information!! Thank you so much!! My son’s seat goes up to 40lbs and he’s barely 27lbs
@lilbensmomma, I felt too n my son was a decent size so I did it n it was right for us
@diegosmommy0213, I too feel my son is ready but I’m definitely open to know more about this whole subject
You need to wait until 2 no matter their size !
2 is when their neck vertebrae starts solidifying.
However it is important to follow carseat guidelines. Most convertible carseats rear face until 40 pounds.
I can find a picture to show you what I mean by solidify
Where I live we can start rear facing at 1year old or when they’re at least 30 to 40lbs. Personally my son Maximus is almost close being 30lbs and when he turn 1 I won’t be rear facing him anytime soon.
@nerdymommyplus2, true! Thank you:))
