So, my oldest spent his spring break with my sister (his Nanny) and her husband, about two hours away. They went to the zoo, stayed up late watching cartoons, fished in the pond behind her house, visited every park they could find, and pretty much whatever else B wanted to do. My sister went above and beyond to give him a true spring break, and I love her so much for that. She goes above and beyond for both of my boys, always finding a way to spoil them. They love that she gets on the floor and plays with them all day. Of course, they are going to be a little more spoiled to her; she gives them her undivided attention.

Tell me why our mom, who lives ten minutes from me and has NEVER asked for him to go spend some time with her like that, was but hurt and acted offended. She made these sly comments to me every time I went over this week. My youngest one loves her to death, because she cuddles him all day. My oldest...not so much. He only really gives attention to those who give him their attention, and I don't feel like I should force him to do otherwise. She acts offended towards him if he doesn't want to sit with her or hug her, and says things like "..well, I didn't wanna hug you anyway.." or "..fine, I'll get a little boy who hugs me to come play at my house..".

End rant, on that note. How many mama's have these same issues? What do you do about family members like this? They don't show your kids love but expect them to know who they are and love them.

Would you consider this cheating? What would you do

Would you consider this cheating? What would you do I need advice from a neutral stand point. Genuine advice of what you would do. Ds had his tonsils out last night. For some reason my gut about dh was not good. At night I logged into his Snapchat and saw he was talking to an old friend who he had a thing with. Last thing I was able to see was him saying it was hard to not log into those pictures and she then said she couldn't answer the phone because she was with her husband. I texted dh and asked what pictures was it so hard for him to not look at and I guess he called her and they talked. And she supposedly came clean to me and said they would just talk and vent about what stresses them. Dh said the same thing and I guess the pictures were of them from a long time ago of them and other friends hanging out. Dh started crying saying he never meant anything that everything looked like the perfect crime but that there was nothing there. I have since kept my distance and told him to give me space. At the moment I don't want to see him. I believe what they said but I'm so hurt and I don't want to be the stupid person to believe everything.

Tell me if I'm wrong here.

Tell me if I'm wrong here. My husband's sil has covid. She's obviously quarantining in her house but is still loving on her kids and husband. I'm sorry but if I had it I would lock myself in a room. She hasn't gotten her kids tested... they're obviously doing the whole remote learning and quarantining for two weeks but she plans to send them back without testing them on the Monday after Thanksgiving 😬😱. My husband thinks I'm overreacting but I told him I don't want to see them on Christmas. I'm in the middle of iui cycles and don't want to risk this. Besides I don't think I could sit in a room with her knowing how irresponsible she has been not only with her family's health but those that are coming into contact with her and her family.
