My daughter is 6 months old and still doesn’t sit down on her own. I try to assist her but when I let go she goes face first.... what else can I do to help? Also curious to know when your baby learned to sit unassisted. P.s I have bought her the fisher price sit me up chair but she doesn’t fit in it. She is 20 pounds and 28 inches long.
Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Heyy ladies I have a question my daughter is 24 months old and googled signs that she is ready to potty train she takes off diaper and puts toilet paper around her arm ect... so yesterday we decided to go ahead and buy her pull-ups and I have a little potty toilet that my mom got her for Christmas but the only thing is that today that I went to restroom and she followed me as she usually does well I tried to sit her on her toilet she didn’t like it so how do I start because she is 100% ready but doesn’t want to sit and plus she doesn’t know what to do she just thinks a chair here is the picture to know when child is ready she does all these that are on picture please help thank you 😊
I’ve posted about my defiant toddler many times before but I’m really at a loss now. She deliberately disobeys. Like, she knows what “no” means and if she’s doing something she knows she’s not supposed to I can ask “do you want to go in timeout?” And she’ll answer “no” and SOMETIMES stop.. I can’t take her anywhere cause she refuses to listen. She runs wild, screams, throws tantrums etc. At home she’s just as bad and absolutely nothing I do or say helps. Timeout doesn’t work, hand poppings don’t work, a pop on the butt doesn’t work, I’ve tried getting down to her level and calmly explaining things or trying to make sure she knows that I understand her emotions and things like that but I’m not even kidding when I say nothing works with her. I’m constantly telling her no and even though she knows she’s going to get into trouble she will do it anyways and then cream this blood curdling scream when she does get in trouble. I’ve raided Pinterest for days, write everything down, tried everything I found... idk what else to do. Everyone keeps telling me it’s “terrible twos” or “she’s just strong willed” or that it’s normal for her age and all of that might be true but there’s gotta be some kind of something that will help me teach her to listen to me and such.

Honestly, my daughters 7 months and she just started doing it. I taught her by me sitting on the floor and putting her between my legs with toys in front of her. But before she was ready, she would do the same thing as your daughter. Maybe prop her up with some pillows (while you supervise of course) in front her that will hold her steady?
