Any tips on how to get a newborn to sleep at night ? I’m exhausted 😩 kayson sleeps all day it’s hard to get him up to eat and then he wakes up every 10 mins at night and I’m lucky to get 2 hours of sleep in meanwhile his dad sleeps all night and doesn’t seem to care if I’m exhausted .

I wouldn’t talk to my baby at night. But during the day I would try to make things as interesting as possible. Like other people said, dark at night and light during the day. Some kids just don’t sleep well. I know we used a binky at night and swaddled.

Babies are suppose to wake up at night. Its a part of their development. ❤

What i did with my kids is kept them up during the day as much as possible, made sure the lights were on t.v. was going, windows open or at least let sun in ect, then at night i made it quiter and of coarse darker. He will get switched eventually, but it'll defently take time.

Wake him up every 2 hrs during the day to feed him he probably has days and nights mixed up. Keep it light and busy/noisy during the day and lights dim with it quiet in evenings. My son was the same way girl I feel ya

I just need to vent. I’m getting really tired of these night sweats I’ve been getting for the past almost 8 years. I’m waking up several times a night covered in sweat. Last night was so bad I had to change the sheets. I’m to the point of tears every night. I’ve had all testing done and they can’t figure out what it is. It’s just awful. I’m so exhausted all the time from not getting a good nights sleep. It sucks

Mommies I need advice....

Mommies I need advice.... So last night was night 15 of me sleep training my daughter from sleeping with me to now sleeping in her new crib. It has been EXHAUSTING! When she slept with me she would sleep straight throughout the night. Now she wakes up at the least, 5 times throughout the night. She has waken up at most 8/9 times at night. There have been times where I’m patting her for an 1 hour-2hours straight to get her back to sleep when she has waken up at one of those times🥵. So I have felt like a complete failure because I am delirious due to sleep deprivation, and I’m just so exhausted from this whole journey and can’t catch up with my sleep that when she’s waken up the past two nights at 7am, I haven’t been able to push through my exhaustion and I just put her in the bed with me for an hour or an hour and a half until we wake up just so I can get a little sleep. I don’t want to confuse her and I don’t want all the work I’ve done so far to be a waste because of putting her in bed with me these past two times. I don’t have anyone to take turns with me because I’m a single mom. And at times my bed wakes her back up after putting her to sleep because it’s so noisy 🙄. I’m working on that part, lol. I’ve let her sleep with a shirt of mine that smelled like me 3 nights and it didn’t help. I’ve even given her a bed baby that she sleeps with. What would you guys do in my case.??
