Okay moms please help Greyson is 1 week 1 day. He hasn’t pooped since Saturday what can I do to help him poop?

@latina.mama, yes I got it when I was in 10th grade and his dad has had since he was little. The doctor said it’s to early to determine if Greyson is or not. She said if he doesn’t poop by Friday to call Friday morning. I went and got the drops gonna give him them when we get home she said they might even help him poop bc the drops will clear way of the gas. She also said newborns don’t poop every day. So at least I feel a little better but I’ll definitely feel better when he poops. I didn’t think I’d ever care if someone pooped so bad lol

Call the doctor ladies she said it can be normal to just keep An eye on him to see the next couple days she also told me to get gas drops that might help him poop too. Just a worried momma here that’s all. Thank you for all your help tho ladies

@latina.mama, I believe he might also be lactose like me and his dad. So maybe I need different formula too

@latina.mama, yeah I’m doing both formula and breast fed well pumping he did poop Saturday after not pooping since Thursday. He’s not fussy or seems distressed from it idk maybe I’m freaking out more than I should

@sherrynygirl, thank you I Gave him a warm bath last night. His farts are powerful just no poop. I’m gonna call they weren’t open this morning I put him in his swing I’ll keep trying the legs and pushing against his belly

My pediatrician told me her daughter didn't poop for 7 days...(all drs are concern by day 3 of no poop..#1 reg eating(bottle or breast) ✔#2 no fever ✔#3not fussy he's. So small call his dr...rem babies need gravity to help poop also since they are laying down makes it harder..elevate him maybe in his swing for a little or on a boppy pillow..hope he feels better and a warm bath can help too relax his muscles to poop.take his legs in a bicycle motion just some advice from a mom over 22 yrs

Are you giving him formula or breast milk?

You can gently rub his tummy and move his like to his chest and like in bicycle motions. It'll help with gas. I had to do stuff with sora when she was 2 months but since your baby is still so tiny maybe the dr will have some other suggestions too

Take a wipe a massage his rectum. Gently rub his tummy in circles.

@verguinia, yeah I plan on calling once they open didn’t know if there is something I could do now

He is really small I think the best choice would be to call his doctor
