So my son doesn’t have insurance at the moment, due to tenncare not receiving my sons ss #.. we have to wait a minimum of 90 days after filing an eligibility appeal and hopefully get approved again. But past couple days my son has had a runny nose and a cough, well today the cough is worse to the point where he has went through 4 outfits from throwing up from coughing so much my guess is due to the sinus drainage. Any remedies to help him? He can’t blow his nose, I don’t have a booger sucker as I call it with me, we are currently at my moms house staying with her. I just feel so bad for him. I’ve given him tiny cold tablets and Tylenol. But it doesn’t seem to help any..

Give him a bath then put really really hot shower on and have him sit in the bathroom while it steams for about 15min that may help try to open his sinuses then saline spray and get him moving it'll shake anything that tries to stick in his lungs loose (I know gross but true)

Take him to the doctor. Tenncare will back date and cover the costs once his insurance gets reinstated. Other than that saline spray and suck suck suck.

maybe an urgent care if you find it necessary. w/o insurance around me it's 50$ a visit. 🤷🏽‍♀️
